Episode Rob Ray (232): Chiarelli Fired! Mike Tells How It Really Went Down and How To Fix Edmonton. ALL STAR Weekend – Brianna Decker and Kendall Coyne Steal the Show!


Peter Chiarelli got fired this week and Mike is happy! Lots of talk about how it had to happen and Mike tells how it actually did happen. Also, Mike has a detailed proposal on how to fix the Oilers. The NHL All Star Weekend was dominated by some incredible performances by women players.

Ference shows his respect for his Oilers teammates.

Referee Tim Peel scores a goal. The Oilers continue to be hot under Ken Hitchcock and Mike’s a bit hot after Andrew Ference threw some his Oilers teammates under the bus. Lots of players on pace for over 100 points. Offer sheets – will this be the year?

Episode Scott Niedermayer (227): NHL Expands to Seattle. DOPeS are Back! Wilson No Suspension. Reaves No Suspension. Giordano MUST BE PUNISHED!!!


In the least surprising announcement in a while, the NHL announces Seattle as the next expansion location. The Department of Player Safety are back to their old nonsensical ways as Wilson and Reaves face no supplemental discipline, but they drop the hammer on Mark Giordano. With the Athletic looking at the future of the game, we chime in with our own ideas.
