EPP gets Law Society of Upper Canada Accreditation

I am pleased to announce that LMI Canada’s Effective Personal Productivity program which I recently facilitated in Belleville Ontario, was accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada for 11 Professionalism hours and 1 Substantive Content hour.  This is the same program which I facilitate for Executives, Managers and Entrepreneurs in all industries.  Click here for my upcoming programs.

The process is such that if you are a lawyer and would like to enrol, I will apply for accreditation for the specific program.  If we time it right, the course will be eligible to cover 2014 and 2015 Professionalism hours (3 per year) requirements.

Productivity Webinar #2 – Conducting Effective Meetings

According to a study done by Management Today magazine, the average corporate worker spends 16 hours per week in meetings and 4 of these are considered pure WASTE!  Add that up and it’s the equivalent of 25 working days a year.  Think your work performance might benefit from an extra month’s worth of productive time?  Yeah, me too.

Check out my latest webinar in which I give some simple and effective tips for running meetings that have clear objectives, take less time and get better results.

Mike’s Productivity Webinar Series: #2 – Effective Meetings

Have you ever sat in a meeting where:

1. You had no idea what the purpose of the meeting was.

2. You had no idea what you were expected to contribute.

3. Several people are checking emails or surfing on their phones while others are speaking?

4. Much  was discussed, but nothing decided.

In a survey of 500 workers, Management Today Magazine found workers spent 16 hours a week in meetings and 4 of those hours they considered waste. Over the course of a year, that’s 25, 8 hour days wasted.  How many important projects could you complete with an extra 25 productive days?

This nonsense needs to stop and I’ve put together a 30 minute webinar to help you get back some of the time that others are stealing from you in meetings.  Register here to join me on June 23 at 12:00 Eastern.
