Training camps opened this week and two days later they were playing exhibition games. It’s a shorter preseason this year as the league has added 2 regular season games. Connor Hellebuyck decided he didn’t like the contract he signed two years ago so sits at home sulking forcing the Jets to suspend him. Plus, some young players sign long term lucrative contracts before the new CBA kicks in.
